"Youth Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Georgia," is a project of "Business Consulting Network Georgia", the Association of Young Economists of Georgia’s (AYEG) subsidiary’s. The project is funded by Estonian Foreign Ministry and the US State Department. Last year, the project had 14 business plans funded. Among them was “Sky Lantern”.

I received information about AYEG grant from my friend. Then, I decided to expand my business, as I needed funds and inventory. At the beginning, I was selling only kites, next month I doubled production, then tripled, added candles, fireworks, stage services and so on. On the third year I did rebranding, changed web logo, and then opened my store. AYEG grant gave me opportunity to buy inventory for 6-7 months, which was essential for my business. Now, my clients are such bug companies as: Book store Biblus, Jewelry store Delfos, TBC Bank, Free university, M group, Estonian Embassy and many others.

At the age 17, I started thinking about my idea and had desire to implement it. I started working on it before finishing school, and after graduation, I started putting into action without any business plan or calculations, I just believed in my idea.

The only place, where my idea was listened is AYEG. This is experienced and friendly team, who will give young people chance to fulfill their desires and goals. I strongly recommend everyone to come and attend AYEG trainings for future success.”
