"Youth Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Georgia," is a project of "Business Consulting Network Georgia", the Association of Young Economists of Georgia’s (AYEG) subsidiary’s. The project is funded by Estonian Foreign Ministry and the US State Department. Last year, the project had 14 business plans funded. Among them was the Monokromi.
“I first learn about the project from my friend and then I found out detailed information from the web-page of AYEG. At that time, our photographic project has been fully developed and we were trying to find investor. The grant competition was a great chance for us to realize our business idea. So we decided to participate in the project.
Within the project we purchased a photo studio equipment, requisites and technology. Company also prepared its brand book, and then formed its web and Facebook page. I am proud of the young talented stuff which carries out about Monokromi every day. Now, company employs 4 people (including 2 women) and also have part time employees, their involvement in the process depends on the projects’ specifics. Without the AYEG’s business grant mobilization of the necessary fundsrequired for this project would be much more difficult.
In my opinion this project is the great opportunity to create or develop your business and I would advise young people to participate.”
