Advocacy training for women entrepreneurs

From January 21 through January 23, 2016, in the framework of G4G’s “Empowering Women in Business” grant project, the Association of Young Economists of Georgia (AYEG) conducted a three-day workshop on Advocacy and Public-Private Dialogue (PPD) for selected women participants. Up to twenty women entrepreneurs from Tbilisi as well as from the regions took part in the trainings. The main topics of the workshop included: Key elements of the advocacy plan, advocacy message formulation and transmission, corporate social responsibility, PPD and its characteristics, Georgia-EU Association Agreement (AA) and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) requirements.
