On the 22nd of September Association of Young Economists of Georgia (AYEG) conducted the meeting in Akhaltsikhe city hall in the scopes of the projects “Citizens’ empowerment for accountability and participation in program budgeting process on municipal level”. The meeting was attended by representatives of the local self-government: City Mayor and the Council Chairman; and program beneficiaries: the Head of the Kindergarten’s Association, the managers of the kindergartens and parents participated in the meeting.
The 2015 program budget was discussed at the meeting through the facilitation of the AYEG project staff. The program beneficiaries – the managers of the kindergartens presented the needs of the 8 city kindergarten to the representatives of the local government and as a result set the identified key priorities of the planned program budget on the agenda.
The project is being implemented with the GIZ financial support.
