Tengiz Shergelashvili  isDeputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. Also he is a analyst at European Initiative - Liberal Academy, Lecturer at Ilia Chavchavadze State University and at Georgian Institute of Public Affairs.

In 2012-2014 he was a first deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. In 2012 Mr. Shergelashvili was a team leader on agricultural, local self governance and economic issues / Institute of Development Studies. In 2001-2006 he was Head of the Board at the Association of Young Economists of Georgia. In 2002-2006 he was Head of Council - Institute of Community Development. In 2001-2004 he was consultantand reporter of UNDP, World Bank and Open Society Institute Program on “Initiative on Fiscal Decentralization”.  In 2002 Mr.Shergelashvili was expert of Economic Growth and Poverty Reduction Program in British organization OXFAM. In 2000 he was an instructor in Strategic Research and Development Center. In 1999-2002 he was a memberof the Coordinating Council for Economic Education and Science. In 1999-2000 Mr.Shergelashvili was a Programme Director - “Supporting the Development of Local Self- Governance in Georgia"- Association of Young Economists of Georgia.
