On 13 and 15 July, mentoring sessions were held in Marneuli and Gardabani municipalities for local civil society representatives, activists and youth. The sessions were led by Volunteer Hub • Natalia Chamiashvili, the founder of Volunteer Hub.
The mentoring sessions aimed to share information with attendees about the importance of volunteering and the diversity of volunteer projects, and by generating new theoretical knowledge to outline realistic volunteer projects;
The meetings were attended by the founder of “Knowledge Café” Ms. Nana Bagalishvili and the representative of the platform “CHARTE” Ms. Mariam Gelashvili, who shared information about their experience of implementing volunteer projects and civic initiatives.
The project is supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government of Georgia, in the scope of the program “Fostering Decentralization and Good Governance at the Local Level in Georgia (DGG)”.
